This is the first time I'll be blogging about a song and its
pretty special since this song was originally written and performed by my
friend Kit Comia. The first time I met Kit (thinking of right words to describe
him) he was so loud and energetic. We're both part of Stann
Pixman production that cover events and the day I met him we were
about to cover an event. So the moment I saw him, I never really knew that he
could write and sing this such remarkable song. I'll let you hear it.
I let some of my friends hear the song and
they responded like “OMG! Sino kumanta nito, and gwapo ng boses.” I just can’t
deny their reaction because it’s true. Man!
This song is amazing and let me bravely admit that I kept on playing this like
many times. I just hope Kit won't fill his head with too much air. Hahaha.
Then, I found out that this song is about imperfection of a guy in a
relationship and his desire to become a better man for the one he loves.
Maturity is one of the elements in this song that makes it beautiful and real.
I mean, in reality not all guys would think such thought if they are not
mature enough to take responsibility over their actions and to desire to be a
better person. Another is giving the fight to God who is the author of our
life. You know relationship (love life) is an area of our lives that we should surrender to
the Lord. This is my favourite part of the song:
“or close my eyes and pray to God and He will tell me what I need
to know. To be the best man that I can be and bring the best out of me so when
I kneel on the floor you can say yes even before I ask you.”
Also, the concept of
waiting is present here. I believe that the song promotes waiting and patience
when the guy wanted to improve himself to be best man that he could be. Now, in
the process of waiting space is present and there will be distance between the
two of you. It is really hard to wait if you’re unproductive and passively
waiting around. You probably quit the process. But if that waiting process could
be activated in a way you could be productive then that will bring the best
man out of you.
Well, I guess that’s all. After all, I can't describe every
relevant factors in this song but just to wrap it up, Kit did it very well. Hope
to hear more great songs from him that I could review. Hahaha. God bless you
Kit! Pa-autograph nga. Fan mo na ako J
